
Lawyer from the University of Chile, Master in International Law, Investments and Trade (LL.M.) from the Universities of Chile and Heidelberg in Germany and a diploma in Trade Law and International Business from the University of Chile.
With an extensive professional career of more than 23 years of experience, 18 of which she has spent in the public sector, she has specialized in the monitoring and follow-up of permits for investment projects in its different institutional instances.
Throught her career she has worked in matters related to investments, dealing with ICSID, OECD and APEC, and has assumed the role of Executive Secretary, legal coordination and project manager of the Sustainable Project Management Office (GPS), managing the work of sectorial advisors in charge of the monitoring and follow-up of investment projects. She has also been an advisor to various Ministers of Economy on environmental issues, assisting them in their role before the Committee of Ministers for Reclamation and the Council of Ministers for Sustainability.
Within the framework of these functions, she developed a permanent coordination with various ministries, services and public agencies of the state administration, acquiring valuable experience in the granting of permits to investment projects. She also participated in the analysis of numerous normative, legal and regulatory proposals, with a direct impact on investment projects and in the generation of proposals for improvement in terms of permits.
Representative of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, in the Presidential Advisory Commission for the evaluation of the Environmental Impact Assessment System and in the Consensus Roundtable for Indigenous Consultation for new consultation regulations in accordance with ILO Convention 169. She has been an advisor on matters of the law on marine coastal spaces of indigenous peoples (Lafkenche Law) and the coastal border.
